However, attending a university training program is not sufficient for someone to be qualified to deliver behavior analytic services. In Georgia, behavior analysts must be licensed to practice , which ensures they have met specific training requirements and continue to develop their education. Georgia Licensed Behavior Analyst usually are also Board Certified Behavior Analysts® (BCBAs), meaning that they have undergone rigorous training at an accredited university program, have completed a minimum of 1000 hours of supervised practice, and have passed a national certification exam.
