Amber Furby, BCBA
Amber is a Board-Certified and Licensed Behavior Analyst based in Savannah, GA, with over 15 years of experience supporting individuals with developmental delays. Her passion for working with individuals with developmental disabilities began in childhood, when she attended recreational activities alongside her autistic sibling. This early experience led her to become an aide at the same community center, where she gained firsthand insight into the needs of individuals with disabilities. Amber earned her undergraduate degree in Special Education from Aurora University and went on to complete her graduate studies in Behavior Analysis at Arizona State University. She is an inaugural member of the Georgia Behavior Analysts Licensure Board and is also an affiliate member of the Global Autism Project. As a SkillCorp alumni, Amber contributed to behavior analytic services in Saudi Arabia, further expanding her expertise in the field. In 2023, Amber founded Aurora Behavior Services, with the goal of making a meaningful impact on the behavior analytic and autism communities. Aurora provides ABA therapy for individuals with autism, along with parent and family training, school consultation, and other consultative services. The organization also serves as a practicum site for Georgia Southern University, helping to train the next generation of behavior analysts.
